1. Do the writers hate Spike? - MLP Forums

Dec 5, 2013 · I don't think the writers treat spike differently, particularly negatively, because he's male and I especially don't think he's portrayed as a jerk.
I mean for crying out loud There isn't one Spike episode that does not make him look like a greedy jerk. He is always the buttmonkey of the group. Always getting abused one way or another. Is it because hes the only male in the mane cast?
